Only just seen this – dunno how I missed it before.
Yes, acupuncture is great – I'm a big fan! Dunno what it does in the long term, but it tangibly benefits in the short term (e.g. with pain). You give a fine account.
Btw, I was taught graphic design at Brighton Uni by the man who did the picture on your T-shirt (George Hardie). Sound fella. But it's still an over-produced, over-rated album ;-)

Acupuncture has helped me with a lot of different things. I recommend taking a amino acid called L-Lysine. It clearly does something for MS since it is one of the four amino acids in the MS drug Copaxone. One thing L-Lysine does is it counters the effects of another amino acid called L-Arginine. If you have ever read the MS diet and the foods to avoid, they all contain large amounts of L-Arginine. The reaction L-Arginine does to people with MS is increase inflammation which is a bad thing.

I do believe in acupunture too and I love it very much. It helped me deal with my head pain and with pain in general.
Its natural and it doesn't have any side effects! It is possible to get a little worse right after the session. It happened to me too. After getting a little worse, it will get much better! It is really worth trying!

Hi Sarah! thanks for your comment. You are right about a healthy diet. When I eat poorly, I feel much worse. Meditation is excellent for stress relief. For people with MS, we know stress is a trigger to problems. Sometimes I am stressed out at work and by the time I come home in the tube, I have tunnel vision! It's crazy. I am glad you mentioned the chiropractic care. This is something I have not done yet, but would like to try.
    Best,
    Marlo

Acupuncture helped me in the past. Now I find Chiropractic care is also a great benefit but keeping a healthy diet and lifestyle has provided me with much needed strength and stamina. Meditation helps keep stress at bay and keeping it to a minimum is essential for anyone with MS. So great that there is yet another person publicising the benefits of alternative therapies. Good on you fr using alternative therapy! Please check out my video on PLS WAKE UP PLS PLS and it is about an alternative treatment for cancer and ms is one of them. Look up Gerson therapy on google and there is a video (DVD) on the gerson therapy. Pls do this as it has cured thousands of MS patients, the medical industry does not want anyone knowing this information.

Great, if they bounced in the tummy we would need little nets to catch them in.
